Last night L was trying his hardest not to go to sleep. He was scared, he was thirsty, he needed a story...We gave him a drink; I read to him, R read to him, we all had extra hugs and kisses. Then:
Silence-
-Mumbled Yelling-
Me-What do you want L?
L-I need chapstick!!!
J-(after finding some)-Come here L...
L comes out and goes to J
J-L you have to say "My Lips Hurt Real Bad!"
L- (smile) My Lips Hurt Real Bad!
We all bust out laughing, L gets his chapstick, R says he doesn't need any cause he can't feel his lips. More laughing...
Ahh...Sometimes bedtime cracks me up!
